From March 13th to 15th, join dancers from across Europe in beautiful green Ljubljana, Slovenia, for the 3rd edition of Spring Oriental Dreamcamp – a unique event celebrating MENATH dances and culture.
At SOD, we focus on pure dance, deep technique and creative exploration.

Meet the teachers
Mercedes Nieto (H)
Internationally renowned oriental dancer, instructor, and choreographer. Founder and organizer of CAIRO! Fest Budapest, founder and director of the Nymph Oriental Dance Company, and Master Teacher at the Nile Group Festival in Cairo. One of Europe’s most sought-after artists, she has taught and performed in over 40 countries worldwide.
Mateja Mikulan (SLO)
Dancer, organizer, dance educator, and choreographer with over 20 years of experience in oriental dance. She has shared her passion through classes and workshops across Slovenia and Europe, and is known for her musicality, high-level choreography, and a style that blends tradition with modern expression.
Melissa Gamal (CA)
Internationally admired Raqs Sharqi artist, sought after as a teacher, performer, and choreographer for her refined movement and musicality.
Known for her strong technique and cultural knowledge, Melissa has taught and performed across Canada, the USA, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Nataša Kočar (SLO)
Dancer, choreographer, and teacher of oriental dance and MENATH folklore, deeply inspired by the diversity of styles and cultures behind each genre.
Long-time artistic director and president of the KUOD Bayani association, she is also the author of 1001 Movements of Oriental Dance, the first Slovenian teaching manual, published in Slovenian and English.
Luara Zaray (FI)
Versatile dance artist with over 20 years of experience in oriental dance, Laura is passionate about guiding students in technique, musicality, and improvisation.
Based in Helsinki, she runs Zaray Dance, teaches internationally, and brings together Reda technique, Arabic music, improvisation, yoga, and Pilates into a distinctive, supportive teaching style.
Nerlisa Osmičević (SLO)
Tribal Fusion dancer and teacher, leading innovative fusion projects at KUOD Bayani in Kamnik with her Silima tribe and the newly formed Rowdy group.
Her movement journey spans Oriental Egyptian dance, A.T.S./F.C.B.D. style, burlesque, and flamenco, culminating in a deep artistic connection with Tribal Fusion.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.Basic information:
The event organiser is MATYA, Mateja Mikulan s.p. (referred to as "the organiser"). By buying the "pass" or "workshop", you agree to the terms of participation.
2. Terms of participation:
To attend the event, it is mandatory to complete the registration and make the payment in the timeline, provided by the organiser. The proforma invoice will be send to your email address in 3-5 days after the registration (sender: [email protected])
3. Refund policy:
If you do not attend the event, we cannot provide a refund. A change of name is possible if the organiser agrees. The attendee must find a replacement on its own and let know the details to the organiser.
4.Event recording:
The event may be partially or fully photographed or recorded. Photos and videos may be used for promotional and documentation purposes. By attending, you agree that your image may appear in these recordings. These may be shared in publications and on social media.
5.Limitation or Liability:
The organiser is not responsible for any personal injuries or loss/damage to personal belongings during the event. Attendees are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
6.Schedule changes:
The organiser reserves the right to update the event schedule. All the possible changes will be published and shared with the attendees via the email address provided in the registration form.
